Project Engineer

Job Summary

TC Glass, a glazing contractor, is seeking personnel with an interest in project management. A college degree in a related field is preferred for this position. Successful applicant must have a good knowledge of assisting and executing projects under supervision. This position is 40 hours per week with occasional overtime. Work schedule is typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Compensation will be determined by experience and knowledge. A valid driver’s license is required as you will be driving company vehicles. Projects include commercial and residential fenestration, fabrication and installation of all types of glazing and aluminum. Computer software knowledge /operation is a plus. AutoCAD and Scheduling software a plus. Duties entail assisting Project Managers with plans, bidding, submittals, data gathering, communication with suppliers and clients, trade-specific software, organization and management of budgets, project scheduling and execution.

- Must be dependable and able to report to work on time.

- Must be able to take direction and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.

- Ability to read plans and blue prints and communicate goals with the team.

- Excellent organizational skills.

- Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety.

- Travel required when needed.

Hours are based on 8-5 pm Monday-Friday, full time employee benefits are: paid holidays, paid vacation, 401K, Health Savings Plan, health insurance, profit sharing. Career position has potential for growth. Wage based on experience and knowledge.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
